The 2019 addition to the CMV fleet boasts a total of 21 cabin and suite varieties, ranging from basic inner and ocean view cabins to more spacious and amenity-abundant balcony cabins and suites. The vessel bears 120 balcony cabins and 28 deluxe balcony suites, along with a superb Royal Penthouse suite. Guests enjoy air conditioning and en-suite in every cabin, while other amenities passengers are provided include a television, telephone, hair dryer and safe, along with ample storage space. Suites possess more luxurious amenities ranging from mini bars and daily canape deliveries to a whirlpool bath. Single travelers are looked after with a range of cabins designed for one, while inter-connecting cabins, cabins with multiple single beds, and wheelchair accessible cabins are all present on the Vasco da Gama.

Dining Information

Passengers are spoilt for choice on the Vasco da Gama, with no less than seven dining options. For those with simple tastes, the Waterfront Restaurant promotes a classic menu and the Club Bistro offers a buffet, self service style of dining, while those feeling adventurous will find their pallets to be satisfied at one of the specialty restaurants including at the Waterfront Mediterranean or Eurasia, along with the classy Chef's Table and more.

Entertainment & Activities

From quiet evening drinks in an intimate, cosy setting, to live entertainment or kids areas, the CMV vessel has it all. The Ocean Bar is an adult-only venue with a full drinks menu and live music performances, Charlie's Bar is where you can find an espresso coffee to enjoy along with your favourite pastries, and vintage seminars, wine tastings, master classes and more can be enjoyed at the Cellar Door. Other entertainment hubs include Hollywood's Show Lounge, where guests are treated to shows such as "Dancing Queen" and "Best of Broadway", Bondi, where arts and crafts are the focus, The Dome Observatory, and more.

Dress Code

Formal nights onboard the Vasco da Gama are limited to cruises of over 4 nights. This means men are required to wear a suit and tie, while ladies may wear an appropriate evening outfit. Mostly however, guests may wear whatever makes them comfortable, especially during day time when comfort is key for enjoying their adventures ashore.
