Coral Princess

The wonderfully sleek Coral Princess, of Princess Cruises, is one of just two ships that has been specially designed for voyages along the Panama Canal. With an impressive 90% ocean-view cabins, of which 80% have private balconies, it is no surprise that the Coral Princess has 700 balconies! These are just the thing for kicking back and watching the beautiful lush scenery go by and admiring the feat of engineering that is the Panama Canal.

There is a lot to do on board the Coral Princess. If you fancy a splash around, then jump into one of the ship’s three hot tubs or its intricate Lotus Spa Pool. If sport is your thing, then you can easily get moving thanks to the many sports facilities on board. Options include basketball, paddle tennis, jogging along the specially designed tracks, a nine-hole putting course, and of course an ultra-modern fitness studio. You can also spend an afternoon (or several!) shopping onboard. Designer outlets where you will receive discounts of up to 30% include Swarovski, Calvin Klein, Tommy Bahama, Lancôme, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Fossil.

But if you had envisaged your time on board the Coral Princess as one of relaxation, then fear not: there are also opportunities aplenty here. Princess Cruises specialises in providing an enriching programme that can keep you happily occupied all day long. Thanks to its [email protected] scheme, classes in all things imaginable are taught by local experts, and there are constantly art exhibitions and lectures on board too. The 24-hour internet café and the traditionally furnished library and writing room always provide a peaceful place to sit back and reflect or research. And if you are thinking of getting hitched on a cruise, then the beautiful wood-panelled Hearts and Minds wedding chapel is the ideal place to do it!
