Travel Tips for Voyager of the Seas

Voyager of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s beautiful ships and also one of the world’s largest. Cruising its maiden voyage in 1999, the 138 000 ton and 1020 foot-long vessel dwarfed all other cruise liners.

It may have been outsized in recent years by Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class vessels, but the Voyager of the Seas is still pretty impressive, fitting a great number of passengers (3800, to be precise) with lots of room to spare.

You will see a great deal of families with children of all ages on board as the Voyager of the Seas is full of fantastic entertainment options for all age groups but especially kids.

Cabins on Voyager of the Seas

There are different categories of cabins available on board the Voyager of the Seas. Choose between:

  • Balcony Cabins
  • Luxury Balcony Suites
  • Inside Cabins with the innovative Virtual Balcony – a large screen window that displays a live stream of the scenery you are passing
  • Outside Cabins
  • Cabins with Promenade views – watch life going on below as passengers stroll up and down the impressive shopping-mall area

There is so much to do on Voyager of the Seas that you will wish every day was a sea day! One of the most fun onboard activities is the exhilarating FlowRider – you can surf, boogie board or wake board against the tide simulator on the top deck. For those not quite daring enough to face the waves, it also makes a fun viewing opportunity!

There is ample opportunity to bag yourself a spot by the pool on Voyager of the Seas, simply because there are 10 onboard pools and whirlpools to choose from!

If you fancy watching the latest sporting event or a movie, hang out by the 220-square foot poolside outdoor screen.

The digital way-finders placed all over the ship will not only show you where you are and how to get from A to B, but will also let you know what activities and shows are lined up for the day.
