COVID-19 Safety

The Royal Caribbean health protocols vary depending on the departure port and are being constantly evolved in accordance with the situation in the world. Vaccination, testing and travel document requirements differ from port to port, so please check the cruise line website nearer the time of your departure (link below).

Here are some steps that are standard for all departure ports and ships:

  • The enhanced HVAC air filtration systems ensure that 100% fresh, filtered air from the outside is constantly supplied to all the inside spaces on the ships
  • All onboard spaces are being frequently and consistently cleaned and sanitized, using proven disinfectants and certified techniques like electrostatic fogging
  • The need to touch surfaces has been reduced wherever possible
  • The medical centres on board each ship have been further enhanced with more doctors and nurses than ever before and advanced equipment
  • Care plans and rapid testing possibilities are in place in case of a suspected Covid-19 infection on board
