The Cyrano de Bergerac from CroisiEurope was built in 2013 and cruises along the Gironde in southern France. Carrying 174 guests, mainly from France, but with a growing number of Australian and British, on each cruise the Cyrano de Gergerac has a wonderful French feeling. Sailing through the wine regions of south France is a great way to see the region.
The cabin onboard are over 3 decks: upper, middle and main. Cabins on the upper deck French balconies which give a wonderful feeling of space and allow you to enjoy the view from the comfort of your own room.
As you would expect from a cruise in southern France the food and wine is exceptional. The wine list is full of local wine and the restaurant, serves a great selection of three-course meals with a mixture of starters, mains and desserts.
The cabins of the Cyrano de Bergerac are beautiful and tastefully furnished outside cabins with a fantastic view outside of the incredible scenery. Features of the cabins include a shower with toilet, hairdryer, adjustable air conditioning, a safe, telephone, TV and radio. All three passenger decks are connected to each other via a lift.
The large and elegant restaurant aboard the Cyrano de Bergerac is inviting and promises an enjoyable time as you are spoiled with culinary delights from the best of French and other European cuisines. There is an expansive buffet in the morning and a dinner menu with several courses served with a selection of fine wines.
After a nice long day of onshore excursions, there is the chance to relax in the evenings with a varied entertainment program which includes a nice long rest in the lounge or your favourite drink to unwind in the piano bar. Here you can choose to either have a romantic night with your partner or get to know the other passengers – the choice is entirely yours. Then there is the Sun Deck where you can lay back and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the French rivers with the sun gently kissing your skin and the peaceful sound of the waves filling your ears.
On board the Cyrano de Bergerac, there is a cosy and inviting atmosphere and therefore it is recommended that you wear more casual clothes for the most part except at the Gala dinner where more formal attire is advisable.
