About Allure of the Seas

The Allure of the Seas is part of the Oasis Class of Royal Caribbean cruise ships. It is one of the largest of the fleet and the cruise experience does not disappoint. With over twenty dining options on board you will never be stuck for choice. ‘150 Central Park’ is the showcase venue, set in the ship’s version of Central Park complete with 12,000 trees, it offers wide ranging menus and superb service. One of the more than 10 bars on board will satisfy your thirst – be it for fine champagne or a martini at the ‘Champagne Bar’ or discovering a party band at ‘Dazzles’.

The more adventurous types can zipline high above the boardwalk or climb the rock wall to witness  stunning views over the horizon. Want to stay closer to the ground? Try out the ‘Surfs Up’ – an adrenaline-pumping surf simulator, or take a dip in one of the onboard swimming pools. Why not catch one of the many onboard shows such as the Broadway hit ‘Mamma Mia!’?. No matter what your taste is it is catered for on board the Allure of the Seas.

Advantages

First time on an Oasis class ship - it was Amazing. Liked virtually everything and loved most things including the smooth Transatlantic crossing. Also bought the Refreshment drinks packages at £299 for the 13 days and it was money well spent. The cabin stewards on deck 9 were ALL super friendly , chatty and helpful

Weak Points

The Windjammer was way too small for a ship holding 6,000+ passengers. The Comedy Live club & British Pub should both have been designed to hold double their 193/128 capacity. The Mason Jar was too far off beaten track on deck 15. Shops were not up to much and ALL TOO expensive. The debarkation in FL was annoyingly SLOW, mainly due to poor signage and staffing once off ship.
