About Arcadia

P&O’s Arcadia is an exclusively adult-only ship that is a combination of things that are complete opposites – relaxed atmosphere with extravagance and chic with the classic. The Arcadia is designed for indulgence and pampering, resting and getting to know other guests, if you want to.

The top-notch entertainment on board the Arcadia will blow you away: the boutique cinema, the art gallery, the Palladium Theatre, the Casino and much more.

Foodies will not be disappointed cruising on board the Arcadia. The dining experience is one of the ship’s highlights. The selection of dishes at the Main Restaurant is fantastic – all freshly made every single day from only the best ingredients. Treat yourself to something special and book a table at one of the beautiful specialty restaurants – the ‘Sindhu’ that serves Indian delicacies with a British twist or at Marco Pierre White’s ‘Ocean Grill’.

Entertainment & Things to Do

Life aboard the Arcadia cruise is as relaxing or as active as you choose. Days can be spent by the pool, attending enrichment talks or browsing the ship’s impressive collection of artwork, while evenings come alive with professional entertainment.

  • West End-style theatre productions.

  • Comedy acts and guest entertainers.
  • Cinema screenings and enrichment presentations.
  • Spa treatments, fitness facilities and wellness classes.
  • Shopping boutiques featuring fashion, jewellery and gifts.

One of Arcadia’s most distinctive features is its impressive art collection, displayed throughout the ship, creating an elegant atmosphere that complements every voyage.

An Adults-Only Escape

Unlike many modern cruise ships, Arcadia is exclusively reserved for adults, creating a peaceful setting for couples, friends and solo travellers. Without children’s facilities or family-focused activities, the atmosphere remains calm and sophisticated from morning until late evening.

This makes the ship particularly appealing for travellers celebrating anniversaries, retirement holidays, milestone birthdays or simply looking for uninterrupted relaxation while exploring remarkable destinations.

Cabin Types

The MV Arcadia cruise ship offers accommodation to suit a wide range of budgets and travel styles. Every cabin has been thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort during longer voyages.

  • Oceanview Cabins – Enjoy natural daylight and sea views.
  • Balcony Cabins – A private outdoor space to enjoy fresh sea air and stunning scenery.
  • Suites – Spacious accommodation with premium amenities and additional privileges.

Many cabins include modern conveniences such as comfortable bedding, ample storage, televisions, ensuite bathrooms and attentive room service, helping guests feel at home throughout their cruise.

Advantages

Looking forward to an itinerary to take us to new places we had not been before.

Weak Points

Three missed ports to the places we had not been. Although we were given extra days in Stockholm,& Copenhagen we had done yours of these before. Unnerving was a Norovirus outbreak ,3 days in to the trip.
