Suva Cruises

Suva is located on the southeast coast of the Viti Levu Island and is the capital city of Fiji. The city is the largest in the whole of the South Pacific and is home to half of the population of the country.

Suva is filled with beautifully lush parks and gardens dotted all over, noble British colonial structures and hills surrounding the city.

Suva is an important economic and cultural centre of the South Pacific, a lot of international corporations, diplomatic missions and agencies headquarter here. The Fashion Council of Fiji, the region’s ‘big deal’ when it comes to all things fashion, is also located in Suva.

The Best Time to Cruise to Suva

Strictly speaking, Suva is great to visit all year round, the weather is pretty much always pleasant, with average temperatures ranging from 26℃ to 31℃ and the sun is out a lot.

However, there are rainier, more humid months these are January, March and April, so you won’t be exploring outdoors so much, but prices will definitely be much lower.

As with so many destinations, we recommend booking your cruise for one of the shoulder season months – May or October, there are several reasons for that:

  • – Mild temperatures
  • – Little rainfall
  • – Little humidity
  • – Low risk of cyclones
  • – Lower prices
