Dining Information

Five different restaurants, such as an Italian specialty restaurant and the Seaview Café with alfresco dining, will definitely provide something delicious for all taste preferences. Furthermore, there are also numerous bars and lounges where good coffee, cocktails and wines are served. Guests with a sweet tooth will love Ben & Jerry’s extensive choice of ice cream flavors.

Entertainment

You can look forward to a diverse entertainment programme. Who could deny the exquisite floating treasure known as the MS Jewel of the Seas? This is your chance to cruise on board a priceless artefact that allows you passage to beautiful Caribbean destinations such as Cozumel Island, the Cayman Islands, Barbados and Puerto Rico amongst many more. This ship was built in the German city of Papenburg and is part of the Radiance class of ships from Royal Caribbean International comprising of four ships all built from 2001 until 2004, with the Jewel of the Seas being the most recently launched in the class. You can enjoy cruising through the gorgeous islands of the Caribbean at an amazing 25 knots.

Come feast to your heart’s content at the cornucopia of eateries on the Jewel of the Seas. Here you will find everything from classic continental cuisine to exquisite steak and seafood. The aptly named Main Dining Room offers food at every meal and in the evenings changes its menu every night. The Windjammer Café is actually more than just a café, it is a buffet restaurant with a wide selection of food including soups, salads, sandwiches and International fare. A special evening can be had at the Chops Grille steakhouse where for a small charge one can have a delicious meal centred around exquisite meat and seafood dishes. Café Latte-tudes is a fantastic place to get fresh coffee and pastries while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.

For a relaxing time on your stay on board the MS Jewel of the Seas, ensure that you visit one of the three pools available to you including the Solarium which is an adults only area giving you time away from the rest of the ship. Try your hand at climbing on the 40 foot climbing wall which rises above deck and gives a breath-taking view of the activity below. Do not worry if it is your first time as it is perfectly safe and fun! For family activities there is a mini golf course on the deck. For fitness and fun there are a number of options such as the basketball court where you can play against others in the breezy exterior or simply go for a jog around the specially made track or even go to the Fitness Center where there are a number of different exercise machines for your use giving a good view of the surroundings. There are also classes in yoga, Pilates and Tai chi. The VitalitySM Spa is the best place to go for a relaxing time giving you many different treatments such as various massages, facials as well as treatments for your hair and nails and some especially for men and teenagers. If you fancy an exciting evening where the stakes are as high as you choose them to be then pay a visit to the massive Casino Royale® which contains almost 200 slot machines and 12 games tables. For a fantastic evening you should also pay a visit to the various bars and clubs that around the ship including the Sports Bar and the Safari Club along with many others. There are also duty free shops selling clothes, jewellery, accessories and perfumes.
