Ship Information

Cabins

Accommodation on board the 50 Years of Victory consists of comfortable lodgings which feature modern amenities such as a shower, TV, DVD player, coffee maker and refrigerator. Most cabins have a view outside so you can enjoy the fantastic scenery of the Arctic while in warm and safe surroundings.

Dining Information

On board the ship are skilled European chefs who will provide you with delicious International dishes served with a variety of drinks. Meals are served in the dining room which does not have reserved seating so you are free to sit where you want and enjoy the incredible fare available to you.

Entertainment & Activities

As this ship is specifically designed to plough through Arctic ice, you can of course expect excursions onto the ice itself to experience the natural beauty of this region. Then there are also helicopter excursions which allow you to access areas of the landscape from above which would not be possible otherwise. Aboard the ship herself there is also much to do from a nice swim in the heated swimming pool to reading a book in the library, as well as keeping fit at the gym or paying a visit to the sauna to unwind completely. The Victory Bar provides a place to relax with a nice drink and you can choose to go during the day or in the evening.

Dress Code

There is no set dress code as such so it is recommended that you pack casual attire for indoor activities but it is advisable that you also have formal clothing for special meals and parties.
