Portland is a deep-water seaport city located in Victoria, Australia, and is the oldest European settlement in this region. The city is full of history, with over 200 19th century buildings that are classified by the National Trust. Many of these are made of bluestone. If you visit Portland between June and August, you are likely to spot whales swimming just meters away from you in the port or the harbour.
