What’s sailing all-inclusive from Australia in 2028?

All-inclusive sailings depart every Australian mainland port throughout 2028, with voyages ranging from a 3-night taster to an epic 94-night ocean crossing. The middle of the range sits at 14 nights — long enough to feel properly at sea, short enough to fit around most leave calendars. Half the sailings are round trips that bring you home to the same port; the other half are one-way voyages that finish somewhere new, which suits anyone who wants to turn the cruise into a bigger trip. Browse all cruises from Australia if you want to compare the wider picture, or read on for everything that’s sailing all-inclusive in 2028.

Where do the sailings go?

The destinations split neatly into two groups: the close-to-home regions that make up the bulk of what’s on offer, and a handful of long-haul sailings for travellers after something more ambitious.

Close to home — Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific

Australian coastal cruises dominate the 2028 programme. You can sail the east coast, loop around the continent, or island-hop along routes that depart from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide — so wherever you live, there’s a departure port within reach of a short domestic hop or a straightforward drive.

New Zealand sailings are the second-largest group, with voyages wrapping around both islands and finishing in Auckland. These one-way itineraries typically depart Sydney and end in Auckland — or the reverse — so a domestic flight connects the two ends, and we can book that for you at the same time as the cruise.

The South Pacific programme rounds out the close-to-home options, with island sailings that head into the Pacific from east-coast ports. For anyone who wants to go a little further, there are a small number of Singapore-routed itineraries in the South East Asia group, and a single sailing reaching as far as the Mediterranean.

The long haul — transpacific and beyond

Transpacific sailings cross the Pacific Ocean in either direction, making port calls along the way before finishing in a distant city — think Honolulu or Los Angeles. These are typically one-way voyages, so if you’re departing from the wrong end, let our team sort the return flight and any hotel nights either side. The Fremantle to Singapore route is another popular one-way option worth a look, departing from Perth (Fremantle) and finishing in Singapore — a short flight home from there, and we can book it.

If you’re curious about what else is sailing in 2028 beyond the all-inclusive filter, the full 2028 cruises page covers the wider season.

Which cruise lines offer all-inclusive sailings in 2028?

Princess Cruises leads the 2028 all-inclusive programme from Australia by a clear margin, with the most departures across the widest range of routes and ports. Celebrity Cruises is the second-largest presence, strong on the Sydney and New Zealand routes. At the luxury end, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Silversea Cruises both sail all-inclusive in 2028, with Silversea’s fare including butler service, unlimited wines and spirits, and Wi-Fi as standard. Norwegian Cruise Line rounds out the line-up with its own all-inclusive option, and DreamAway Packages — CruiseAway’s own cruise-plus package — add flights, hotels and transfers to the mix.

The Princess 2027–2028 season launch covers what’s new from Princess in detail, and it’s worth a look if Princess is your preferred line. If you’re weighing up the Princess Australia summer season specifically, that page covers the Australian departures in depth.

What do the fares actually include?

All-inclusive means different things on different lines, so here’s what each major line’s fare covers in 2028.

Princess Cruises

Princess fares come in tiers. The base Princess Standard fare covers the cruise itself; drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities are added separately. Step up to Princess Plus and you get 4 casual dining meals per voyage, beverages up to A$15 each (up to 15 drinks per day), MedallionNet® Max Wi-Fi, pre-paid crew appreciation, unlimited digital photos plus 3 prints, and reserved theatre seating — a genuinely useful bundle for most travellers. Our cruise experts can help you decide whether Standard or Plus makes sense for your trip on the Princess Cruises 2028 page.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity offers 3 fare tiers. The best-rate (cruise-only) option gives you the lowest fare with inclusions added later. The best-value tier includes a classic drinks package and basic Wi-Fi in one price — the most popular choice for most travellers. At the top, The Retreat covers premium drinks, premium Wi-Fi, suite accommodation, exclusive lounge and sundeck access, and dedicated personal service. You can explore the full Celebrity programme on the Celebrity Edge Australia–New Zealand 2028–2029 page.

Silversea

Silversea’s All-Inclusive fare sets the standard for what all-inclusive can mean at sea: butler-serviced suites, exceptional dining, unlimited wines and spirits, onboard gratuities, and Wi-Fi are all folded into the base fare. The All-Inclusive Plus fare adds a fully refundable deposit and a Shore Excursion Credit based on voyage length and region — useful if plans are still forming. Both fares are available on Silver Moon sailings.

Which ships are sailing?

Six ships carry the bulk of the 2028 all-inclusive programme from Australia. Here’s what makes each one worth knowing about.

Grand Princess — Princess Cruises

Grand Princess has the most all-inclusive sailings from Australia in 2028 — 20 departures across a variety of routes. On deck, Movies Under the Stars brings the cinema experience to open ocean. Order food and drinks anywhere on board through the Princess app — cocktails poolside, pizza in your cabin, all without queuing. The adults-only Sanctuary retreat on the top deck is the place to go when you want sun loungers, light meals and genuine peace, with ocean views above the Coral Sea.

Cabin options on Grand Princess run from a practical inside cabin to the full suite experience:

  • Inside cabin IA — 14.9 m², positioned on middle decks for minimal ship motion and easy access to lifts. Sleeps up to 4. See Grand Princess deck plans.
  • Premium sea view O3 — 19.1 m², with a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window and an unobstructed sea view that fills the cabin with natural light. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Premium Balcony cabin B2 — 25.5 m², with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that open the cabin up and deliver more natural light than a standard balcony. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Grand Suite S1 with private hot tub — 67.8 m², the largest suite on board by a significant margin, with a private hot tub. Sleeps up to 4.

Celebrity Edge — Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Edge brings 14 all-inclusive departures to the programme in 2028. The ship’s signature feature is the Magic Carpet — a cantilevered platform that suspends you 16 storeys above the ocean for al fresco dining, cocktails and sea views on a scale that’s hard to describe from shore. The Infinite Veranda cabins open the entire wall of your stateroom to the outside, so the morning air and the harbour view are yours from the moment you wake. Eden, a 3-storey living garden at the ship’s heart, hosts live performers who appear from within the space itself. More about Celebrity Cruises.

Celebrity Edge cabin grades:

  • Deluxe Inside cabin DI — 18.8 m², around 2 m² more than the standard inside, with a larger bathroom and extra storage. Sleeps up to 4. See Celebrity Edge deck plans.
  • Deluxe Ocean-view cabin DO — 22.1 m², the roomiest ocean-view category on the ship, with 3–4 m² more space than the standard sea-view cabins. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Sunset Veranda Stateroom SV — 21.2 m² with the largest private balcony of any standard balcony cabin — around 8.3 m², compared with roughly 3.7 m² in other veranda grades. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Iconic Suite IC with private hot tub — 239.8 m², spanning 270° panoramic views from the highest position above the bridge. The largest suite in the Celebrity fleet. Sleeps up to 6.

Royal Princess — Princess Cruises

Royal Princess has 10 all-inclusive sailings in 2028 and one feature that keeps people talking: the glass-bottomed SeaWalk extends 40 metres over the side of the ship, with nothing but blue water visible beneath your feet. The adults-only Sanctuary retreat gives you a quieter place to spend sea days, with stewards attending to sun loungers and ocean views. In the evenings, Movies Under the Stars, duelling pianos at Crooners, and a dancing fountain light show give you a packed programme without feeling like it’s been forced on you.

Royal Princess cabin grades:

  • Inside cabin IA — 15.4 m², with minibar, safe and desk included. The most affordable way onto Royal Princess. Sleeps up to 4. See Royal Princess deck plans.
  • Sea-view cabin O6 — 20 m², with a large panoramic forward-facing window that brings natural daylight into the cabin. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Deluxe Balcony cabin DA — 23.4 m² with a private balcony — the personal outdoor space for breakfast or sundowners that inside and sea-view cabins simply can’t offer. Sleeps up to 4.
  • Penthouse Suite S3 with aft balcony — from 54.5 m², the largest cabin on board and significantly more spacious than any mini suite or standard cabin. Sleeps up to 4.

Celebrity Solstice — Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Solstice was revitalised in 2026, so the restaurants, staterooms and outdoor spaces you board in 2028 are noticeably fresher than a ship of its vintage would normally offer. The Lawn Club gives you a real-grass deck to spend the afternoon on, while Sunset Park hosts live concerts and Dueling Pianos carries the night. Le Petit Chef’s 3D animated dining show is worth booking early — it’s one of those shipboard experiences that people mention long after the cruise. AquaClass cabins give you exclusive access to a dedicated restaurant and spa facilities. See Celebrity Solstice deck plans and cabin grades.

Silver Moon — Silversea

Silver Moon is the newest ship in the Silversea fleet, and it shows. Every cabin comes with a personal butler — not an optional upgrade, just standard — and the all-inclusive fare means drinks, dining, Wi-Fi and gratuities are folded into the one price from the start. If you want the quieter, more considered end of the all-inclusive market in 2028, Silver Moon is where to look. See Silver Moon cabin grades and deck plans. More about Silversea Cruises.

Sapphire Princess — Princess Cruises

Sapphire Princess has 5 all-inclusive sailings in 2028 and departs from Sydney and Fremantle, making it one of the more accessible options for West Australian travellers — no long-haul flight required to reach the ship. A 2025 refit refreshed the restaurants, cabins and Lotus Spa, so the ship is in genuinely good condition for the 2028 season. The Sanctuary adults-only pool deck — private cabanas, cold towels, serenity stewards — is the spot to settle in on sea days. See Sapphire Princess deck plans. Browse Princess Cruises 2028 sailings.

Other ships in the 2028 all-inclusive programme include Coral Princess, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Splendor, and Norwegian Spirit. Our cruise experts can talk you through what each one is like and which suits your trip best.

Are there discounts on 2028 all-inclusive sailings?

Many 2028 all-inclusive sailings carry a reduction from their previously listed cabin price. Discounts reach up to 14% on one departure, with most reduced sailings sitting around 4% off. Those aren’t headline numbers, but 4% off a 14-night all-inclusive fare is a meaningful saving in dollar terms — and our Best Price Guarantee means that if you find the same sailing cheaper elsewhere, we’ll match it. Fare types available include last-minute offers and promotional rates such as early-booking deals; the specifics shift regularly, so it’s worth checking with our team before you decide.

Prices start from A$686 pp* for 2028 all-inclusive sailings from Australia.

How do I get to the ship?

The five departure ports — Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle — cover most of Australia’s coastline, so the ship is never more than a short domestic flight from wherever you are. If you live close to one of the ports, some sailings mean no flight at all: you drive or take the train, board in the afternoon, and you’re at sea the same evening.

For one-way itineraries that finish in another city — Auckland, Singapore, Honolulu or elsewhere — a domestic or short-haul flight connects the two ends of the trip. We can book that return leg, along with any hotel nights either side and transfers to and from the terminal, as part of the same booking. One call, one itinerary, no loose ends. Brisbane 2028 sailings and Singapore-to-Australia 2028 sailings are both worth a look if your route starts or ends somewhere other than your home city.

Make it a full holiday

CruiseAway is a cruise specialist — every offer we sell is a cruise or a cruise-inclusive package. Our team can wrap flights, hotels, tours, transfers and insurance around your sailing, either as a bundle or a fully custom itinerary built around your schedule. The DreamAway Package is our own cruise-plus product, designed for travellers who want the cruise and the getting-there sorted in one go. If you know what you want, call us and we’ll put it together; if you’re still deciding, our cruise experts are the right people to talk through the options with.

You can also explore all-inclusive cruises across all years or compare all-inclusive sailings in 2027 if 2028 dates don’t quite line up with your plans.

Looking at other years or related sailings?

If you’re not set on 2028 or you want to see what else is sailing from these ports, here are some useful starting points:

*Prices are per person based on 2 people sharing, and are subject to change. This price is not kept up to date and therefore does not reflect live pricing and availability. Prices and any discounts shown were checked on 14 October 2026.

Where a discount is shown, it is a reduction from the price previously listed for that cabin grade on that sailing, not a comparison between cabin grades or against a brochure rate. Discounts and prices shown are not kept up to date: the reduction available now may be smaller, or may have ended, and prices may have changed.
