Itinerary

Depart 18:00

Paris is the capital of France and is crossed by the River Seine. There are numerous monuments and landmarks worth seeing in this busy city. Certainly the most famed landmark is the Eiffel Tower, atop of which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. A visit to the home of the Mona Lisa - the Louvre is a must for art enthusiasts. Why not take a walk along the famed Champs-Elysées boulevard? at the end of which you will find an equally famous attraction - The Arc De Triomphe. There is so much to see and experience in one of Europe's cultural capitals and most popular tourist destinations.

Melun is a small town located on the bank of the Seine River in the southeastern suburbs of Paris. The town's backyard is home to the spectacular palaces of Vaux-le-Vicomte and Fontainebleau - these draw thousands of visitors every year. Not only are they stunning, the intrigue surrounding them is fascinating. Melun itself is idyllic and has a lot to offer: museums, lush forests, churches and châteaus - all just a 30-minute train ride from the capital of France.

Depart 07:00

Mantes la Jolie is a city located on the left bank of the River Seine in north-western France. The city has preserved its historical heritage and, today, boasts a picturesque castle and various religious buildings that are worth a visit. Mantes la Jolie is incredibly charming and as such has been immortalized by a number of famous artists such as Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

Rouen is located about 80 miles inland along the Seine river. It is often referred to as 'the city of one hundred steeples' as stated in one of the poems of the famous french poet Victor Hugo. Although many of the buildings were destroyed during the Second World War, many of the half-timbered houses are still worth seeing. For the architecture lovers the Basilica of Saint-Ouen and cathedral will be a treat with their breathtaking sights.

Honfleur is located at the mouth of the Seine, as it flows into the English Channel. The port city is known for its shimmering light. Many painters used this region in the past as inspiration for for their artwork. One of the attractions, the Pont de Normandie, connects Honfleur and Le Havre. This bridge has a span of 856 m, the largest cable bridge in Europe. Among the attractions in Le Havre are the Church of St. Joseph, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Bridge of Normandy.
