Day 1: 04 Dec 2026 – Arrival in Hiroshima
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival in Hiroshima, you will
be transferred to your hotel for a two-night stay.
Please note: Standard hotel check-in is from 3:00 PM. Luggage storage can be
arranged at the front desk.
(One group transfer is included from the airport to the hotel.)
Day 2: 05 Dec 2026 – Hiroshima & Miyajima Island
Meal: Breakfast
Today, embark on a full-day exploration of Hiroshima and its surroundings.
Begin with a visit to Miyajima Island, known as
“Shrine Island,” famous for its iconic giant torii gate that appears to float
on the water at high tide—one of Japan’s three most scenic views. While on the
island, spot wild deer roaming freely and sample the local delicacy, fresh
oysters.
Return to the mainland to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome
(A-Bomb Dome), part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and a powerful UNESCO World
Heritage Site. This haunting structure, one of the few buildings to survive the
atomic blast, stands as a poignant reminder of the past. Conclude the day at
the Peace Memorial Museum, where exhibits provide a deep insight into
Hiroshima’s history and the advent of the nuclear age.
Day 3: 06 Dec 2026 – Hiroshima → Osaka City Tour →
Nara → Kyoto

After breakfast, travel to Osaka where your tour begins with a visit to Osaka
Castle (entrance included). This imposing landmark, surrounded by expansive
parklands, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
Continue to Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital, to
explore Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha and a significant symbol of
Japanese Buddhism. Wander through Nara Park, where friendly deer freely roam,
eager to be fed the local specialty, shika senbei (deer crackers).
This evening, arrive in Kyoto and check in to your
hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: 07 Dec 2026 – Kyoto Highlights → Gifu (Nagoya)
Meal: Breakfast
Discover Kyoto’s most celebrated landmarks today. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine,
renowned for its thousands of vermilions torii gates that form atmospheric
tunnels along forested paths. Continue to the exquisite Kinkaku-ji (Golden
Pavilion), a Zen temple shimmering with gold leaf that reflects beautifully on
its surrounding pond. Conclude your Kyoto tour at the enchanting Arashiyama
Bamboo Grove, where towering bamboo stalks create an otherworldly ambiance.
In the late afternoon, drive to Gifu (Nagoya) and
check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: 08 Dec 2026 – Gifu → Takayama → Shirakawa-go →

Venture into Japan’s picturesque countryside with a scenic drive to Takayama.
Stroll through the beautifully preserved Old Town along Sannomachi Street,
lined with traditional wooden houses, shops, and eateries. This district evokes
the atmosphere of the Edo period, offering a glimpse into Japan’s rich
heritage.
Next, visit Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
famous for its traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some over 250 years old.
These steep thatched roofs, resembling hands in prayer, are a unique feature of
the region.
In the evening, continue to the Nagano region, check
into your hotel, and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 6: 09 Dec 2026 – Nagano: Snow Monkeys &
Zenko-ji Temple

Begin the day with a visit to the revered Zenko-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most
important Buddhist sites. After exploring the temple, enjoy a sake-tasting
experience and a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, head to the Jigokudani Monkey Park,
home to the famous snow monkeys who love to bathe in the natural hot springs—an
unforgettable wildlife encounter.
Day 7: 10 Dec 2026 – Nagano → Mt. Fuji → Tokyo
Meal: Breakfast
Today’s journey takes you to the iconic Mt. Fuji. Ascend to the 5th Station,
located 2,300 meters above sea level, to enjoy sweeping views of the Fuji Five
Lakes area below. The station features shrines, torii gates, and charming
souvenir shops.
Continue to Lake Kawaguchiko, where you’ll take a
short cruise across the serene waters, framed by surrounding mountains and the
majestic silhouette of Mt. Fuji.
Arrive in Tokyo in the afternoon, check into your
hotel, and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 8: 11 Dec 2026 – Tokyo City Tour
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, begin an introductory morning tour of Tokyo’s highlights.
Start at the Meiji Shrine, a tranquil Shinto site dedicated to Emperor Meiji
and Empress Shoken, surrounded by peaceful forested grounds. Then, visit the
Imperial Palace, the primary residence of Japan’s Emperor, set amid beautiful
gardens in the heart of the city.
Your tour concludes around lunchtime, leaving the
afternoon free to explore Tokyo’s vibrant neighbourhoods, shops, and culinary
delights at your own pace.
Day 9: 12 Dec 2026 – Tokyo → Yokohama Cruise Terminal

After breakfast, transfer to the Yokohama Cruise Terminal to embark on the next
chapter of your journey.
