As the seat of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the European Court; Strasbourg is one of the most important centers of the European Union. The French city is located near the border with Germany, therefore much German influence can be seen throughout, particularly through the architecture of the city. Of particular interest is the Old Town, which is a World Heritage site, and the Cathedral Square, one of Europe's most beautiful city squares. Due to the numerous channels that meander through the city and the picturesque half-timbered houses, the city offers a unique charm to visitors.

Mannheim is a typical university town in Baden-Württemberg and lies on the Rhine. In addition, the city offers numerous museums, historical and religious buildings. Particularly impressive is beautiful and the castle of the Elector Palatine, which is the second largest Baroque building in Europe.
Eberbach is a small town in Germany, sitting on the banks of the Neckar River, bang in the middle of the Castle Road, a historic trade route leading from Mannheim, Germany all the way to Prague, Czech Republic. A visit to Eberbach won't leave you short of things to see. The remains of the Eberbach Castle sit right at the top of the Odenwald Mountain Range and provide a spectacular view of the town and its surroundings. The well maintained timber-frame houses that dot Eberbach also attract a great number of tourists.
Heidelberg is a city in southwest Germany. It lies on the Neckar River and not far from the mouth of the Neckar and the Rhine. Heidelberg is known for its castle ruins, located near the river and especially for the Ruprecht-Karls-University, the oldest university in Germany.
