Hanoi is the capital city of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's largest city. Until 1975, the city was known under the name Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is located north of the Mekong Delta on the west bank of the Saigon River. There are attractions such as the Reunification Palace, the French-built 'Notre Dame' Cathedral, as well as numerous theaters and parks. The Reunification Palace is widely seen as a symbol of the end of the war and guided tours of the palace are highly recommended. Ben Thanh Market is an ideal spot for trying authentic Vietnamese cuisine and local crafts.

Ko Kut, also known as Koh Kood, is an island paradise in Thailand. It can only be reached via vehicle ferry making it an exclusive destination for cruise passengers. Ko Kut is sparsely populated and natural. It claims to have some of the best beaches in Thailand as well as beautiful jungle and waterfalls. The perfect destination to relax in the sun. The lack of infrastructure does mean that public transport is a bit lacking so we recommend an organised shore excursion if you want to explore the island.
