The city is approximately 1,100 years old and the cityscape is shaped by influences from the Gothic and Baroque periods. Prague has a wealth of historical sights. The Lennon wall with graffiti inspired by the Beatles has become iconic of Prague, while the famed Charles Bridge which stretches across the Vlata River has also proven popular with visitors.
The town of Mělník is situated in Central Bohemia in the Czech Republic. It is the largest wine growing region of Bohemia and attracts many visitors with its historic old town. The Prague Gate is the only part of the old city fortifications remaining from the 15th Century.
