Adamstown is the capital of the Pitcairn Islands and has only 45 permanent inhabitants. Adamstown is known as the smallest capital in the world and is the smallest of British territory abroad. The island is home to one store, which opens three times a week. The remoteness of the island and the preserved tropical landscape make it a unique tourist destination.
