Bridgetown is the island's largest city and is a vibrant and historic cultural gem. The capital of the island of Tobago is home to about 5,000 people. The botanical garden in the middle of the city was opened in the 19th Century and is worth seeing. In the capital of St. Lucia, you will find one of the finest harbors in the West Indies. A large part of the islands exports of bananas, sugar cane, rum and syrup pass through Castries. The city was founded by the French, whose influence is felt today. The island of Bequia, which lies in the Caribbean Sea, is part of the State of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. About 5,000 people live on the island and the official language is English. The name of the island, which translates as 'Island of Clouds', comes from the language of the Arawak, the indigenous people of Bequia. Port Elizabeth is the capital of the island and, with its large marina, is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. Many cruises start around the Grenadines. For those looking for more idyllic and calm beaches, take a trip to Friendship Bay on the opposite side of the island.

In the colourful city of Willemstad, experience the hospitality of the inhabitants. After the discovery by the Spaniards in the 16th Century, the island was conquered by the Dutch. There is a distinctly Dutch feel about Willemstad, complete with waterways and charming street cafes. In the old town, you will find picturesque colonial-style buildings as well as historic fortifications which all add to the design which has won Willemstad UNESCO Heritage Site designation.

The old town of Oranjestad will impress all visitors with its many colorful and ornate buildings, giving the Island a distinctly Caribbean feel, while also hinting at the Dutch influence through colonial architecture. Oranjestad's streets are lined with luxury retailers, diverse boutiques and jewelry stores. A scenic park lines the coastline of Ornajestad meaning you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. With a typical Caribbean feel, Oranjestad is a nightlife hotspot filled with restaurants, cafes, clubs, bars and casinos.

Cartagena was founded in 1533 and is located on the Caribbean coast in northern Colombia. The walled Old Town boasts some of the most beautiful colonial architecture in South America with cobblestones and colourful facades. It also happens to be one of the safest places in Columbia making it great for cruisers. Make sure not to miss the San Felipe de Barajas Castle and the Palace of the Inquisition.

Colón is located in Limon Bay, at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal and is traditionally referred to as “Panama’s second city”. On the decline since the 1960’s due to politically instigated riots and Panama’s subsequent military dictatorships, Colón has undergone an impressive restoration and renovation project since 2014.
