Buenos Aires
7Buenos AiresDeparture from your hotel towards San Telmo, the cradle of Tango. The Tango music was born in the late 19th century in the " arrabales" (southern suburbs) of Buenos Aires, populated by "criollos" (Argentine natives), Italian and Spanish immigrants, some African descendants and people from many other countries. Their fights, their needs, their poverty, their passions, their pretense were the spark that created this mythical and passionate piece of Argentine culture. Its emotive lyrics are sometimes difficult to understand and almost impossible to translate but always deeply poetic. " El Aljibe Tango" is a trip back in time to those times of Buenos Aires and its old " conventillos " (tenement houses), which defined the popular culture of our city and had great influence on our music. Its more than 30 artists on stage will allow you to travel through the history of the best of the Argentine music, not only Tango but the Folk music of the Gaucho as well. Enjoy this truly endearing and entertaining show along with some of Argentine's fine cuisine and good wines.

Departure from your hotel towards San Telmo, the cradle of Tango.
