Life On Board

Odyssey of the Seas is the first Quantum Ultra Class ship to cruise the USA. Departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, it will take you to the Caribbean islands of Curacao, Aruba, Jamaica and many more. Winters are spent in the heart of Europe. Set sail in Rome and explore the Greek Islands and stunning Mediterranean cities. Transatlantic cruises are another popular choice.

On board, you will meet heaps of adventurous families, especially during school holidays, as well as couples and singes around 30 to 50 years of age.

You’ll find fun and adventure on every deck. Experience a free fall on the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator, or ride the wave on the FlowRider surf simulator. Discover the industry’s first fully immersive 4D virtual reality at the Virtual Adventure Zone, or have a blast at the glow-in-the-dark laser tag face-off. Let yourself be blown away by original productions like Showgirl! performed on the stage of the Two70 multimedia theatre. Learn how to dance by day and show off your skills by night. Watch the latest movies and live sports at the outdoor cinema, or check out the Music Hall for great look-alike live music acts. There is no space for boredom on the Odyssey of the Seas.

Get acquainted with the latest machines at the Vitality Fitness Centre with the help of professional instructors. They will also help you create a fitness regime just for you or get you involved in one of the fitness classes, like Pilates, sculpting and spinning. Relax and forget the world at the Solarium, the adult-only retreat that boasts the best ocean views on board the ship. Enjoy some you time at the Vitality Spa and choose one of their beautiful treatments. Go with a massage, a facial or a body wrap. If that isn’t enough, check out the medi-spa therapies on offer, you’ll look and feel rejuvenated after. Hair and nail services are available at the Salon that’s part of the Spa.

Cruising with Children

The award-winning Adventure Ocean programme has lots in store for young passengers. Your kids will discover clubs organized according to age and filled with appropriate activities. They can get creative at the Workshop, roam around at Play Place, or take part in sports tournaments at the Arena and make friends. Teens have their own space, the Hangout, they can choose to take part in pre-organized events or just chill out and watch movies, listen to music and lounge on the patio. Enjoy some family time watching an action-packed production of the Effectors at the Royal Theatre or getting soaked at the Splashaway Bay, go rock climbing or explore the offerings of SeaPlex – the largest indoor activity space at sea.
