The MS Trollfjord has been sailing for Hurtigruten since 2002 and is one of the most luxurious ships in the fleet. Its name comes from a branch of the Raftsund which divides the Lofoten and Vesterålen Islands from one another. The ship's leading-edge design was inspired by winter in Northern Europe. Its modern cabins are comfortably and tastefully furnished so that you may always feel at home while on bord MS Trollfjord. Here you have the choice between inner and outer cabins.
On board the MS Trollfjord you will find elaborate breakfast and lunch buffets. Afternoon tea is gladly served in one of our many bars, cafés and lounges, where you can always find a pleasant atmosphere in which to pass the time at your leisure. A three-course meal is served for dinner. Vegetarian meals are gladly served upon request.
All in search of community are sure to be pleased with our different lounges and card rooms, and those looking for quiet are more than welcome in the MS Trollfjord's library. Internet access is available in the Internet Café.
Two Whirlpools and a sun deck with a breathtaking view are all at your service to help you relax. Other amenities on board the MS Trollfjord are a boutique and a conference centre.
Relaxation and the enjoyment of nature have always been priorities with Hurtigruten. We therefore believe your time on board should be spent at your leisure. As the weather can be unpredictable at times, we advise all passengers to bring waterproof clothing. Gloves, scarves, hats, and warm layers of underclothing should not be forgotten, especially during winter months. Sturdy footwear and hiking sticks are recommended for land excursions. Among the most important items to bring are sunglasses, as ultraviolet rays reflected by ice and snow can be dangerous for the eyes.
