The Island Princess is home to over 700 balcony cabins, and 90% of all cabins have an ocean view. All cabins offer great luxury and comfort, no matter inner, outer, or balcony cabins, mini-suite, or suites.
The master chefs on all Princess Cruises ships never fail to impress their guests with truly gourmet meals. As part of the gastronomic society “Chaîne de Rôtisseurs“, all Princess kitchens offer exciting new menus each day, pleasing even the pickiest of gastronomes. The excellent service aboard the Island Princess only adds to the experience. Visit the Provence Dining Room at fixed meal times to be served by your personal waiter, or take advantage of the flexible meal times in the Bordeaux Dining Room. Reserve a table in one of the specialty restaurants, such as Sabatini’s or the Bayou Café Steakhouse, where you’ll find menus full of delicious local specialties. For something a little more personal, you can even order a dinner on your private balcony. Buffet restaurants, the Wine & Caviar Bar, a patisserie, and many more places provide you the opportunity to eat when you please and even to take a snack to enjoy by the pool. A 24-hour cabin service completes the culinary picture.
Entertainment and Activities
There are many diverse opportunities for entertainment and activities aboard the Island Princess, ranging from educational lectures and workshops to shopping, and from impressive art exhibits to musical shows in the theatre. A library, writing room, art gallery with auctions, internet café, and a wedding chapel are also available. Evening visits to the Princess Theatre and Universe Lounge are highly recommended. There you can watch all the latest films and enjoy exciting performances by talented artists. The Princess Casino and the many lounges on board are other hot spots for evening activities. Younger guests on board the Island Princess can have fun in the different kids’ pools, the Fun Zone, and the Off Limits Teen Centre.
Wellness and Sports

Let yourself be pampered in the Lotus Spa area or enjoy the quiet in the Sanctuary, reserved only for adults. Work out in the fitness room or sports hall, or take a golfing course with the golf simulator or on the 9-hole golf course. Game courts and shuffleboard are also available.
The dress code on this ship is generally casual. You’re free to wear whatever makes you feel best. However, the dress code becomes smart-casual once the sun goes down, and elegant and formal clothing is recommended for special occasions.
