Terms and Conditions Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. reserves the right to change Shore & Land Excursion prices and itineraries appearing on this website without prior notice. Government taxes and fees may be assessed as additional charges. Please note that the Shore & Land Excursion prices in the "BROWSE" section may not reflect the actual prices and excursions available at the time of your cruise or Alaska Cruisetour. Prices and excursions specific to your cruise or Alaska Cruisetour will be viewable in the "PURCHASE / SHOP" section of the web page. Prices of Shore & Land Excursions include local transportation, such as motorcoaches, limousines, taxis and boats (unless otherwise indicated in the excursion description). Meals and/or beverages are only provided when specified in the excursion description. Snorkeling, scuba and golf tours only include the equipment specified as part of the price. Shore & Land Excursions are subject to cancellation or modification, depending on the number of guests participating. In the event of an excursion cancellation or modification, we will endeavor to provide advance notice to you. Certain tours have a minimum booking requirement, or must be limited to a maximum number of participants. Not all excursions described on this website may be available during a particular sailing or during your Alaska Cruisetour. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any Shore & Land Excursion due to inclement weather conditions, or any other reason whatsoever, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to guest(s) by reason of such cancellation. Full refunds will be extended to guests holding tickets for canceled Shore & Land Excursions. The Guest accepts that Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. acts as agent only for passengers and has no responsibility for the performance of the Shore & Land Excursions herein specified. Reservations Shore & Land Excursions described on this website may be purchased in advance of your cruise or Alaska Cruisetour. Shore Excursions only may be purchased onboard the ship through the SeaPass program. Shore Excursions/Explorations! Desk hours are listed in the ship's daily program, the Cruise Compass. Land Excursions only may be purchased during the land portion of your Alaska Cruisetour vacation. Restrictions Please note there are certain excursions that for safety reasons, age, weight and/or height restrictions apply. These restrictions are imposed by the individual vendor and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. must comply accordingly. Tour Availability Please note that not all excursions are available on all ships or during your Alaska Cruisetour. Excursion prices and itineraries are in effect at the time of printing and may be subject to change without notice. Scheduling of Shore Excursions When planning your Shore Excursions, please keep in mind the following: 1. Most morning excursions will meet in a lounge onboard the ship and most afternoon excursions depart from the pier. Final excursion departure and meeting locations will be provided directly onboard the ship. At the completion of the excursion, you will be returned to the pier unless you elect to leave the excursion en route. In that case, it will be your responsibility to secure transportation back to the pier. Guests should also be mindful that in ports where the ship lies at anchor, excursions may commence from dockside, not the ship. Therefore, ample time should be allowed by guests for the tender trip to shore. 2. In most ports it is possible to participate in more than one excursion. When planning your day, it is advisable to allow at least one hour between your excursions. 3. All guests are to be aboard the ship no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing time. The scheduling of all shore excursions conforms to this requirement. However, if you elect to leave an excursion en route, or go ashore on your own, it is your responsibility to return to the ship on time. 4. Kindly note that excursion times provided online may be earlier than the ship’s scheduled arrival at a port of call. The time listed may be in local time as provided by the excursion operator. The most accurate excursion departure time will be provided directly onboard the ship. Scheduling of Land Excursions When planning your Land Excursions, please keep in mind the following: 1. Most Land Excursions will meet in the hotel lobby of the designated overnight destination, unless otherwise indicated by your Tour Director during the Alaska Cruisetour. 2. Not all Land Excursions are offered on every Alaska Cruisetour itinerary. The Land Excursions are made available based on the destinations visited on the Alaska Cruisetour itinerary and the amount of “free time” available to each guest during the itinerary. The exact tours available on an itinerary will be noted while in the “PURCHASE / SHOP” mode of the website. 3. In some destinations it is possible to participate in more than one excursion. When planning your day, it is advisable to allow at least one hour between your excursions. 4. To avoid disappointment, it is recommended that you purchase Land Excursion tickets ahead of time on the website. If this is not possible, Land Excursion tickets can be purchased through your Tour Director once you begin the land portion of your Alaska Cruisetour. Refunds and Cancellations No refunds are made for failure to use all of the described services included in the excursion price. Cancellations by guests must be made prior to the closing deadline advised directly onboard the ship or during your Alaska Cruisetour. Under no circumstances will refunds be made after an excursion has commenced. Remember, you may change or cancel your Shore Excursions on this website up to ten days prior to your cruise start date. You may change or cancel your Land Excursions on this website up to ten days prior to your Alaska Cruisetour start date. Cruise Card Remember while onboard the ship to take your SeaPass Card with you whenever you go ashore. It will serve as your Identification Card, which you will be required to show to the officer on duty before re-boarding the ship. Travel Documents and Identification As a reminder to our guests, kindly be advised that passport, visa and inoculation and regulations may vary by destination and change from time to time. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel and health documents such as passports, visas, vaccination certificates, etc., that are necessary for air travel, disembarkation at the various ports of call and re-entry into the appropriate country of origin. Activity Level The Shore & Land Excursions presented on this website that require the guest to use a motorcoach or other form of transportation will require the guest to step up 2 to 3 steps, approximately 10 inches high each. Most (but not all) coaches used can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs. However, it should be noted that escorts, drivers, guides, tour directors and shipboard staff are not obliged to lift guests into the vehicles. Liftvans and/or coaches are not available in all ports of call. Tendering may preclude guests in wheelchairs from going ashore at certain ports of call. For further information prior to the commencement of your cruise or Alaska Cruisetour, please contact our Reservations Department or your travel partner; or refer to the icons that appear with each excursion description for some additional information. While onboard your cruise or participating on your shore excursion, please check with a Shore Excursion/Explorations! or Alaska Cruisetour representative for additional information. To assist our guests in choosing excursions, all excursions have been graded according to the level of activity they entail. Please note the icons act only as a guideline. Guests must use their own judgment regarding their participation in any excursion. Children's Pricing Unless indicated, children's pricing is valid for children 12 and under. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that we must adhere to any age restriction imposed by the tour operator, which is usually referenced within the excursion description. Infants ages 3 and under will be carried free of charge, subject to them not occupying a seat. Tour tickets are not issued but once onboard the ship or during the Alaska Cruisetour the appropriate staff must be advised of the infant’s participation accordingly. Weather Most tours will operate rain or shine. However, full refunds will be made to guests holding tickets for excursions canceled due to weather. In the event of an excursion cancellation, every effort will be made to accommodate guests on other available excursions.
