Casual wear is welcome on board all NCL ships during the day, swimwear can also be worn at the buffet or outdoor restaurant but has to be covered up with a shirt, footwear is also required. Smart casual, like slacks, jeans, skirts and collared shirts are called for at dinner if you are going to a more formal dining room or an upscale specialty restaurant. The Norwegian’s Night Out is the perfect opportunity to dress up and shine.
Every guest is permitted to bring two pieces of checked luggage, weighing around 22kg each. Consider brining a small bag with important medication, valuables and documents as it may take a few hours after embarkation for the checked luggage to be brought to your cabin.
Food & Drink
Norwegian is one of the few cruise lines out there that gives its passengers flexibility when it comes to dining. Freestyle Dining is all about you deciding when and how you want to eat. Go with one of the included venues for fine dining or casual snacks. There are up to 3 Main Dining Rooms on board every NCL ship, all deliver fresh cuisine and boast daily rotating menus. Special youth programmes are tailored to every age group. Guppies is for babies, toddlers and their parents. The Norwegian Escape boasts a Guppies Nursery – a fee based drop-off nursery service. Splash Academy is dedicated to 3-12 year olds, its complimentary and features fun crafts, parties, sports and more. Entourage is for teenagers aged 13 to 17. It is full of video games, movies, music, sports and people their age. The Late Night/Port Play service is available at an additional cost.
Choose between Family Suites with two bedrooms, conveniently located near the kids’ play area, or regular inter-connecting cabins. Most restaurants offer complimentary kids’ menus for passengers aged 4 to 12. Children under 3 eat free.
