The ten passenger Shannon Princess II is the only luxury hotel barge cruising the waterways of Ireland. Her thoughtfully designed interior has panoramic windows, through which you can view the passing scenery, and includes a comfortable saloon, dining area and bar. The Shannon Princess II also features full length, roof top sun deck ideal for relaxing with a drink, or watching the sunset after dinner.
The five suites have en-suite facilities and give a choice of twin or double bed configuration. The experienced Irish crew go out of their way to ensure your every need is accommodated. Your chef was trained at the Ballymaloe School and distinguishes herself at every meal with her signature dishes and your captain has piloted and managed the Shannon Princess II for many years.

SIZES OF THE CABINS: They are all approximately the same size 9ft 10" x 12ft 9" (3mx4m) approx 131sq ft and have ample storage space.

Before you awaken each morning,a crew member has already been ashore to collect crisp breads, buttery croissants and a variety of fresh pastries. Together with the aroma of coffee, the day has just begun.
Lunch will be a colorful arrangement of salads, pates, savoury quiches and a selection of cheeses. Accompanied by an excellent choice from the hotel barge wine cellar, lunch is often enjoyed on the sun deck, perhaps while cruising.
Your chef supplements the vessel's larder with fresh produce bought from lock-keepers' gardens or local markets and creates mouthwatering regional and national dishes which are only challenged in flavour by the delicious range of regional wines that are served aboard.
Dinner is the culinary highlight of each day. Served by candlelight, each course is a delicious creation, subtly complemented with fine wines and still and sparkling water. This really does feel like the Grand Finale to an amazing day of exploration and intrigue, cruising the old trading routes which stretch from the Mediterranean right across Europe.
