A cruise aboard Amazing Grace is an unforgettable adventure...
Sailing from Freeport, Amazing Grace roams the Caribbean Islands for 27 days on a voyage of discovery no conventional cruise ship can hope to match. You'll experience the breath taking beauty of the entire Caribbean and explore just about every island, nook, cranny and cay from the Bahamas to the Grenadines.
Jetsetters and millionaires beware...on this cruise there is none of the glitz and razzamatazz of the large cruise ships. Instead we offer you the chance to experience a small ship cruise, "barefoot" style with few dress rules and only 90 or so like-minded fellow passengers - on a cruise adventure none of the large cruise ships can hope to match.
For a fabulous 27 days MV Amazing Grace meanders through the islands of the Caribbean from the Bahamas south to Trinidad just off the tip off South America, exploring the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, West Indies and the Grenadines. There is no fixed itinerary, the Captain varies the route to take advantage of the trade winds and weather - but generally you can expect to explore some 17 - 20 exotic ports of call or more and experience a wonderful mix of island cultures.
Built in 1955 in Scotland, PHAROS, braved the North Sea delivering supplies to lonely lighthouse keepers and servicing bouys along the coasts of England and Scotland.
A "workhorse" vessel, her fine appointments were still elegant enough to play hostess to the British Royal Family.
Acquired by Windjammer in 1988 and re-named AMAZING GRACE, she carries on the tradition of old world charm and elegant service.
