Viareggio is a town in the province of Lucca, situated on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the north of Tuscany, Italy. Viareggio is a popular tourist resort with a historic fishing harbour. It is also an amusement-centre, the country of the Carnival and boasts first-rate night-clubs and premises.The sand beach has private bathing areas where tourists can purchase a day pass.
